Goodnews’ parents died when he was in 5th grade leaving him and his 3 siblings to be raised by their uncle who was a petty trader with 6 children of his own. Due to the financial status and kind of business his uncle was doing, he struggled to take care of their basic needs.  Goodnews was forced him to be doing hobby work around his neighborhood in other to get food and other basic needs. 

After receiving a free JSS education in Gbenikoro, Goodnews is continuing his high school education as an 11th grader at the EduNations Senior Secondary School where he receives 3 meals a day and his basic needs met.  

Goodnews shares his experience: “My educational experience at EduNations hope Academy has impacted my life in many ways like having the opportunity to attain free quality education, spiritual guardians and equal right for all. It has also helped me to overcome shyness and fear.  Upon graduation from high school, I will be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in law, because I want to be a Lawyer that will fight for the right of the less privilege and be a blessing to siblings and my community.”
