Meet Memunatu Conteh, a remarkable 15-year-old student in the eighth grade at EduNations' Hope Academy Junior Secondary School in Rokassa, Sierra Leone.
Born into a large Muslim family in the village of Robikie, Memunatu has faced many challenges. As a physically disabled girl from a very poor family of small-scale farmers, her future once seemed uncertain. Most of her relatives were forced to drop out of school, and she feared she would face the same fate.
Growing up, Memunatu dreamed of getting an education, but her family lacked the resources to send her to school. She felt hopeless, watching her relatives remain uneducated, yet she longed for the opportunity to learn.
That opportunity finally came through EduNations and the generosity of donors like you. Today, Memunatu is thriving in school, receiving quality education and all the learning materials she needs. She is deeply grateful for this life-changing support and gives special thanks to the EPC Church for introducing her to Jesus Christ.
Memunatu has big dreams. She wants to become a medical doctor after graduating from EduNations' Senior Secondary School, and her newfound faith inspires her to share the Gospel with her family.
Her story is a powerful testament to the impact of your support. By donating to EduNations, you’re not just providing education—you’re igniting hope, transforming lives, and even sharing the love of Christ in some of the most remote parts of Sierra Leone.
This holiday season, be part of Memunatu’s story. Together, we can build a brighter future for students in Sierra Leone.
Join us in making a lasting difference—it truly takes a village.
