EduNations Raises $46,772 at Golf Outing!

Thanks to the sponsorship and participation of the Presbytery of the Alleghenies, EduNations hosted its fifth annual golf outing on Monday, June 5 at Avalon Golf and Country Club in Sharon, PA. 

EduNations has been holding golf outings for the past five years, with proceeds from each fundraiser supporting the Senior Secondary Boarding School in Rokassa. This two-story school building in Rokassa enables EduNations students from all six remote communities to receive a quality high school education. In addition, students live in dormitories with the other boarding students and receive three nutritious meals each day.

The goal of this year’s golf outing was to Keep Hope Ignited and support the feeding and education of upcoming senior secondary students who will be attending the boarding school this fall. In April 2023, EduNations’ first ever class of senior secondary students graduated from high school! This was a huge milestone for EduNations and one that couldn’t have been accomplished without the support of the golf outings over the years. We want to keep the momentum going and give more students the opportunity to graduate! 

Thanks to all who supported and participated in this year’s golf outing, EduNations raised $46,772! This will send 63 senior secondary students to school this fall! It takes a village…and we couldn’t do this without you.  From all of us at EduNations, TENKI!
